Valentine's mission is to offer affordable plumbing services utilizing the technology of today's modern plumbing industry combined with the knowledge and skill of our predecessors. Our specialty is focusing on our clients' needs to develop outstanding solutions at affordable rates and, when possible, utilize today's applications of trenchless technology.

In January 2007, Valentine began working with American Pipe Lining. Commonly referred to as “APL,” this company was the first to bring potable epoxy pipelining technology from Japan to North America’s commercial and residential markets, and to the U.S. government and military, in the1980s. Industry pioneer Steve Mori and his employees are all employed by Valentine today and provide the added benefit of an additional 25 years of experience working with epoxy and epoxy applications. Valentine's technicians have even trained many of our competitors' employees in the proper installation of potable lining installation. No one in our industry understands epoxy lining installation like we do.

Valentine works with the largest small-diameter pipe lining company in North America. With six corporate locations, our corporate resources include 160 field technicians, a traveling ‘specialty’ crew for more complex projects, and over 50 support staff. We have also established the largest, most extensive licensee network in North America and overseas. Tom Bowman

Tom's plumbing career began with water chemistry and swimming pool repair. A lifetime swimmer, Tom competitively swam through college at Northern Illinois University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. After college, Tom continued operating pools as he pursued the art of coaching swimming. Tom co-founded the local swim school in Sycamore, Illinois (Energym Sports Campus).

In 2002, Tom changed directions as he found he enjoyed making plumbing repairs to pool systems. He worked as an apprentice plumber for 5 plus years before becoming a licensed journeyman in the State of Illinois. He joined Valentine in 2009 where he brought his extensive knowledge of cured-in-place pipe lining to the company.
